Leadership Opportunities in 3DE

 Our 3DE Advisory BoardThe advisory board offers students leadership opportunities in various areas. Students can apply to be members of the 3DE advisory board as freshmen through their senior year. The purpose is for our aspiring leaders to take ownership of the 3DE experience.

We have 4 committees, a chair who leads each committee, and chair and vice chair who oversee committee activities.

Recognition for 3DE Students

We celebrate our students in various ways.

Students of the Month

Students are recognized by their 3DE teachers. Recognition can be due to effort, determination, creativity in thinking, or in excellence in contributions. 

Teams of the Month
Nothing in 3DE is done without collaboration. We love to recognize teams who find success in their collaboration or learn to work through their struggles to come out better in the end: it's about carrying every member to a feeling of value in their contributions to the problem-solving tasks.

3DE Offers State and National Recognition

19 Under 19
Every year 3DE students have the opportunity to be recognized by Junior Achievement. JA selects 19 3DE students who are under 19. They receive financial rewards and are invited to attend the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame event with JA's business partners. In 2022, NHS Renee Kanda and Grace Hernandez were invited to be presenters, introducing influential JA business partners! In 2026, Northview's Erika Gabrielson was chosen to be the student keynote speaker. 

National Case Challenges

In 9th and 10th grade, our students teams compete in one national case challenge per year. In 9th grade the case challenge is sponsored by Arby's, and in 10th grade, the case challenge is sponsored by Home Depot.

I2026 was big year for Northview! Out of over 90 3DE schools across the nation, our 10th grade team made the top four teams just missing out on the national win. OUR 9TH GRADE TEAM not only made the top four team but took the honors becoming the 3DE NATIONAL WINNING TEAM.
