Principal's Message
Martin Neuhaus's Message
Mr. Neuhaus is beginning his 30th year as an educator – all in Fulton County and the Johns Creek community.
Mr. Neuhaus has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Clemson University, a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Florida and a Leadership degree from Georgia State University. Mr. Neuhaus started as a teacher in 1995 at Findley Oaks Elementary School (the second year it opened!). He then transitioned into Fulton County’s Administrative Intern program, working at various schools throughout Fulton County at the elementary, middle and high school levels. He was hired by Northview’s founding principal, Mr. Zervakos, as an Assistant Principal at North Springs High School during the summer of 2000, before becoming Assistant Principal at Shakerag Elementary that fall and then became Principal at Shakerag for the 2002-2003 school year. After serving the Shakerag/Northview community for 16 years he transitioned to Principal at Barnwell Elementary, then came back for the 2022-23 school year to serve as Principal at Northview.
Mr. Neuhaus is passionate about ensuring that all students know they are cared for and receive the highest quality of education possible in a positive and encouraging environment. He believes in empowering teachers, providing the support needed for each staff member to help Northview be successful in its mission to Instill Excellence in Academics, Arts and Athletics.
Mr. Neuhaus is married to his college sweetheart, has two daughters (one UGA graduate, one UGA student in progress) and a 3-year old standard poodle (Kramer). When not working he enjoys spending time with family, reading thrillers, hiking, cooking, yardwork and cheering on his Gators!
